I am thrilled to be your child's teacher this year. I would like to tell
you a little bit about myself. I married my highschool sweetheart twenty
years ago and we have two wonderful children, Alex and Justin. Both of our
kids attended Bennett. We have a dog, a frog, a lizard and a snake.
We love animals and have had many other pets to include guinea pigs and
bearded dragons.
This is my fifth year teaching. I started in Fairfax County teaching
Special Education. I have my Masters Degree in Specific Learning
Disabilities. I have been home raising my kids and am so excited to be back
in the classroom.
I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, travelling, and listening to
my husband and daughter play musical instruments and sing. I also enjoy
watching both of my kids play various sports. I may see you out at the ball
field one Saturday! I am looking forward to a terrific year,
Each child in my classroom is unique and special. My mission is for all
students to work towards their full potential. I will strive to make sure
that each student feels safe and comfortable in our classroom and school. I
expect each student to work hard, try their best at all times and to become
an independent and responsible third grader.
