After graduating from Longwood College, I began my career teaching middle
school math. I earned my Gifted Endorsement in 2004 and taught several years
of gifted mathematics at the Center Based Gifted Programs at both Manchester
and Matoaca Middle Schools. Six years ago, I transferred to Weaver to pursue
my childhood dream of teaching elementary school. It has been a wonderful
change and I adore teaching fourth grade!
I've been married 10 years and I have two fabulous sons. Evan is a
First Grader at Enon Elementary and is crazy about Legos and baseball.
Tanner is a very busy toddler and is a joy to watch as he discovers something
new every day. We love travelling and just enjoyed an anniversary getaway
this summer to Grand Cayman!
In our class, will strive to do our best. We will be helpful, polite, kind,
and respectful. As fourth grade students, we will set a good example for
others. We will make learning our top priority by doing all our work, staying
on task, and listening to and following directions. We will take
responsibility for our work, our behavior, and our learning. We will do our
best to be the best class we can be and show excellence in all we do.
