Student projects are graded according to project objectives and doing your
PERSONAL best.
Projects (Advanced Art only)
You are given two due dates as we approach the end of a project. The first
one is the last day in class to work. The second is the final due date. This
way if you have chosen something challenging or you were sick, you can
continue working before or after school or at home. After the final due
date, you will loose points on your grade. If there is ever a problem,
please see me ahead of time so we can work out an appropriate date.
We will use a grading rubric which lists project objectives.
Quizzes
You will have quizzes which are all “open note” and will be taken online
from our this website's response page. I will walk you through the first
one. You will be given a due date by which you must submit your quiz. If you
do not take the quiz by the due date you will not get any points! For
students who do not have access to the internet outside of school,
arrangements will be made to take the quiz on one of our school computers.
Journals (Advanced Art Only)
Your journals will be taken up and graded once or twice each 6 weeks. You
will be given a check list ahead of time. Point values vary.
All midterms must be returned for a 10 point grade. (Email contact will be
acceptable)
