Homework Guide

There is homework assigned at almost every class meeting. Most of the
time the assignment will be to read a specific section or two in the
textbook. It is very likely that there will be a Five Question Quiz on that
material at the beginning of the next class meeting. Also, if the homework
is not written, students are expected to STUDY and/or REVIEW the material
covered in the class. The homework guidelines for eighth graders specify
students are expected to spend 20 minutes per night per subject or 40
minutes if on a block schedule.
