What are we doing in math?

We have completed mult. and div. and are now studying fractions and 
decimals.  Students will need to add, sub., find equivavlent fractions, 
compare fractions with <>=, and find the fraction of a group.

What are we doing in spelling?

 Your child will bring home a take home list and 
begin completing 2 centers each week for homework.  Use the chart for a 
variety each time.  Spelling words are on my website if needed.  The test 
will be each Friday for all but pink group which will have their lists for 2 
weeks.

What are we doing in writing?

We are preparing for the writing SOL and writing an animal report.

What are we doing in reading?

We are reaidng all varieties of nonfiction including animal books, 
biographies, and habitat books.  We are researching a habitat for a diorama 
project and an animal for a poster project.

we are completing our explorers and reviewing for the SOL's.
