How long is this block?

This is a 90 minute block.

Do you accept late homework?

I do not accept late homework. I believe that it is necessary to adhere to 
the necessary deadlines for the class. 

However, if there are extenuating circumstances, please feel free to discuss 
them with me.

How often is homework given?

In order to meet the SOL requirements and testing date, it is necessary to 
assign homework almost every night.

Do I have to bring my book to class each day?

Yes, you do have to bring your book to class each day. There may be times 
that we will be working on a project in the library or the computer lab and 
may not need your textbook but I will let you know at that time.

How often may I leave the classroom

When you arrive in class, you are expected to be seated and prepare for the 
active duties of the block. You have five minutes between each block to 
attend to your personal needs. 

If you have a medical condition, please let me know.

Do I have to work with other students in class?

Yes. I believe in collaborative learning and I believe that it is important 
that students learn to work with each other in a constructive manner. This 
assist in working with our interpersonal and intrapersonal skills.

Will we finish the book before the end of the year?

Yes, we will finish the book before the end of the year. I want to make sure 
that you have been exposed to all of the materials necessary for you to do 
your best on the state Standards of Learning Assessment for Work History I.
