2009 2010 Who's Who in America & Who's In Who In the World (2010)
July 20 - 26 Participated in the 'Stony the Road' Field and Workshop
Experience in Alabama. Thirty-two teachers and coordinators
participated in this noble workshop. We visited Civil Right
sites in Birmingham, Selma, Tuskegee and Montgomery and other
locations. I was very moved by the experience. One of the most
enriching experiences that I have ever had.
July 14 - 19 Attended the Summer Civil Rights Institute at the University of
Virginia with Dr. Germany as the visiting professor.
March 2007 Was invited to Lincoln College of Oxford in Oxford, England to
participate and present a paper on Diversity. It was
published in their Public Policy Journal.
2007 Who's Who Among America's Teachers
Sept. 14-16 Presented and participated in a campus without borders forum
on diversity at the University of S.C., Lancaster and Clinton
Junior College in Rock Hill, S.C. July 2008 Marqui's Who's Who
of American Women
2005 Teacher of the Year for Frank W. Cox High School
2003 Humanitarian Award from Phi Delta Kappa for educational
accomplishments
