1. Talk politely to others at appropriate times.
2. Raise your hand and wait your turn.
3. Take care of your needs only.
4. Have all materials ready.
5. Keep desk and area clean.
6. Hang up book bags and jackets.
7. Listen to others.
8. Look at others when talking to them.
9. Keep hands, feet and objects still while the teacher is teaching.
10. Come to school with needed materials and supplies.
11. Leave school with all needed materials.
12. Turn in all work on time.
13. Stay in your seat.
14. Report unsafe actions to an adult in the classroom.
15. Follow morning procedures:
- Enter the classroom quietly.
- Unpack book bag.
- Turn in homework book.
- Sharpen pencils.
- Complete morning assignment.
- Copy down homework.
- Read silently.
Consequences:
No color - Homerun!! Great job!!
Green - 5 minutes off of recess/silent lunch
Orange - 10 minutes off of recess/silent lunch
Blue - 15 minutes off of recess/silent lunch
Pink - Student must write a sentence 25 times and have a parent sign it.
Yellow - Note sent home to parent/visit to principal
Rewards:
Students are always praised for their hard work and excellent behavior.
There are, however, other rewards given out.
The students receive individual rewards using the "ticket" system. Students
can earn tickets for paying attention, following directions, being a good
team member, turning in homework on time, passing read-up quizzes, etc.
Students will have the opportunity to spend their tickets for things such as
pencils, erasers, coloring sheets, trip to the treat basket, sitting at a
different spot at lunch, etc.
