About The Teacher

Hi, my name is Kerry Atkinson. I have worked as a Speech Language Pathologist 
in the public school system for ten years.  I am a graduate of Nottoway 
County Public Schools.  I received my Bachelor's Degree in Communication 
Disorders from Longwood College and my Master's Degree in Speech Language 
Pathology from Nova Southeastern University.  I have a Certificate of 
Clinical Competence from American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and 
Speech-Language Pathology License from the Virginia Board of Audiology and 
Speech-Language Pathology in addition to my Postgraduate Professional License 
from the Virginia Department of Education.

I live in Nottoway County with my husband Todd and our three wonderful 
children.  Two beautiful daughters, Hannah and Taylor as well as a handsome 
son named Joseph.  Hannah is ten years old and in the fifth grade at Nottoway 
Intermediate School.  Taylor is four years old and starting Pre-Kindergarten 
this year.  Our son, Joseph, is in the seventh grade at Nottoway Middle 
School.I love my job and enjoy working with the students at all of the 
schools in which I serve.
