About The Teacher

I grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada and moved to Virginia in 2004. I have taught 1st grade, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, and 5th grade. I earned my Master of Education degree from Cambridge College in Chesapeake, Virginia. My degree is in School Counseling. My goal for the future is to become a counselor. I havebeen raising my two nieces for the past year as I have been given guardianship of two great kids.

I am looking forward to working with you and your child this year.

 

Mission For Our Class

My classroom is focused on the student: as responsible for their learning in fun and innovative new ways. By integrating technology into the curriculum, and through cooperative learning structures, students will engage in hands-on learning experiences. Holding myself accountable for the teaching and learning, I will differentiate and assess each day. My philosophy of teaching is to help each student grow into a citizen leader not only within our classroom and school; but in their community as well.
