How much time should my child spend doing homework?
The amount of time spent on homework will vary by child, but third garde
guidelines stipulate 30-40 minutes on most nights. If your child is
struggling or not challenged enough by our homework assignments please let
his or her teacher know and we can adjust the content and workload
accordingly.

How is my child doing?
The weekly graded papers and behavior reports will help keep you informed of
your child's progress, however, if you are concerned, please do not hesitate
to call or e-mail your child's teacher. You don't have to wait for a formal
parent-teacher conference to discuss your child's growth and progress.
Teachers welcome the opportunity to speak with parents. A strong home-school
partnership is the key to your child's success.

Is it okay for me to come in the classroom to help?
We welcome parent volunteers in the classroom. We can always use help with
our daily literacy centers as well as "office tasks" such as cutting,
copying, etc.
