We began the Letter Hh today. This will be the last letter for the year.
Mortimer will be leaving to visit his family in Alaska for the Christmas
holidays. He will return in January and we will continue with the Letter Ii.
Homework (a word that begins with the letter H) was sent home in your child's
folder today. Please complete the work and return it to school as soon as
possible.
A note was sent home today that explains our special "H" project. We will be
collecting hats and gloves all this week for the homeless. This is an
opportunity to teach the children how to share with those who do not have as
much as they do. Thank you in advance for helping with this need.
We will begin our second unit in the Getting Ready to Read with Mother Goose
curriculum this week. The theme is "What's the Weather?"
We had our final practice today for our Christmas program. The children did a
wonderful job. They are looking forward to singing for their families. I
hope that you will make plans to attend on Tuesday, December 8 at 10:30 am.
