We completed the Letter "Hh" this past week.    This will be the last letter
for the year. Mortimer left to visit his family in Alaska for the Christmas
holidays.  He will return in January and we will continue with the Letter
"Ii".  We will work on our Mother Goose Beginning Readiness
curriculum this week.

We are excited about our Christmas program on Tuesday, December 8 at 10:30
a.m.  The children are looking forward to singing the songs for their
families.  We shared the Christmas story this week in Bible time.  It helped
them to understand what they are singing about. I look forward to seeing you
at the program.

Thank you to everyone who participated in our community project - hats for the
homeless.  We were able to put together twenty sets of hats and gloves to
share.  The children were excited to deliver their project to Mrs. Finch. 
Check out our pictures.  What a good way to begin the Christmas holidays -
sharing with others.

This week we will enjoy Christmas crafts and activities.  Next week we will
visit Santa's House at Gloria Dei.  Our current scheduled date is for Tuesday,
December 15.  The children will have an opportunity to talk to Santa and have
their picture made, help decorate a tree, and make cookies and read with Mrs.
Claus.  There will be many things to look at and enjoy at Santa's House.  I am
keeping this a surprise, so please don't tell.  Thank you.

The party list is posted in the hallway for our Christmas party.

Thank you for helping our school year to go well.  I cannot believe that it is
Christmas time.  I trust that this will be a special time for your families. 
Please continue to pray for our classmates who have fathers that are deployed
at this time.
