We are enjoying Farm Weeks.  Last week we rotated classrooms and had a 
different activity in each room.  The children thoroughly enjoyed it.  Today 
we had a Farm Parade and showed our animals to our friends all over school.  
We have learned about planting by planting our very own sunflower to care for 
at home.  We also talked about other vegetables, including carrots.  We 
painted carrots and followed up with a carrot sequence worksheet.  This was a 
following directions activity.  We will have a special snack on Friday:  Dirt 
and Worms.

We are also practicing for our end of the year program.  Make sure to plan 
your work schedule to attend if at all possible.  We only have one 
performance this time.   
 
PLEASE DON'T FORGET TO REGISTER FOR THE 2012-2013 SCHOOL YEAR.

GOOD MANNERS:

* Say "Please", "Thank You", and "Excuse Me" at the appropriate times.
* Sneeze and cough into your inner elbow.
* Wipe your nose when needed.
* Sit properly in your chair at the table with two feet in front of you under 
the table and pulled up to the table.
* Sit properly and quietly in chapel with your legs out in front of you and 
not bothering your neighbors.
* Listen while your teachers are talking and follow directions.
* Don't interrupt others while they are talking.
* Use nice words.

These are some basic manners.  There are many others that we will regularly 
reinforce.
