Grades have been updated online. Progress report grades may vary as there are still a few additional grades to add this week.
Just a few quick reminders:
Fifth graders are participating in the Salvation Army's Christmas coin drive. Please send in loose change. This is a wonderful community offering and encourages the children's stewardship. The classes will also have activities, such as a math lesson on counting money, to go along with the project. The final day for collection will be Friday, December 18th.
The fourth and fifth grade Christmas program will be on Wednesday, December 16th. In the next few days you should receive a memo with specific details regarding times and the meeting location.
Our 5th grade Christmas party will be on Thursday, December 17th, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM. This party will include lunch, and children will not need to bring or purchase lunch on this date. Last week I sent home notes reminding those that offered to send in goodies.
Finally, progress reports will be sent home next Thursday, December 17th. I will send a current grade sheet home with every student. These are to be signed and returned to school the following day. We still have a few big grade opportunities between now and next Thursday. There is a social studies quiz tomorrow, Friday, December 11th, a social studies test next Tuesday, and a math test on Wednesday.
