Supplies&Music Shops

*Scroll down to the bottom of this page for telephone numbers of local music
stores!!
*****************************************************************************

These MATERIALS are required for all JRHS Orchestra students:

All students are expected to have these supplies by the 2nd week of school
and to restock them if necessary--at any point the conductor may ask to see
that the musicians have these supplies as a homework or "pop quiz" grade.

INSTRUMENTS: I strongly recommend that you get these at a string speciality
shop [see below], not a general music store.

*All students are required to have the use of an instrument.
*Purchase of an instrument is strongly recommended for all high
school string players.
*Rentals can be made through local music stores.
*If a student borrows a school instrument, the student must maintain that
instrument (including strings) and assume responsibility for any breakage.
*We do not supply shoulder rests or rockstops!:)
