This will be my twelfth year as a special education teacher (my
fifth year at John B. Dey Elementary) working with students with various
disabilities. I received my undergraduate degree from James Madison
University in 1994 and my Master’s Degree in Special Education from Old
Dominion University in 1998.
Some of my hobbies and interests include running, kayaking,
woodworking and other do-it-yourself projects, but most of all, spending
time with my wife and three children.
Please keep in close communication with me regarding your child's
services, needs, or other concerns you may have. I look forward to working
with you and your child this year!
Our mission is to have a successful school year by:
- learning strategies to participate in all school activities and settings
- becoming more independent around the school and in completing our work
- being Socially Outstanding Seagulls by being respectful of others and by
always trying our best!
