Call a friend.
Use a homework pass if you have one.
Please note that your child is given ample time to copy his/her homework
assignment. I go around and sign my initials once they have completed
copying.

YES!!! This is an important form of communication between the parent and the
teacher. Please do not forget to sign on Friday as well. Sometimes there are
important messages for the parents.

Absolutely not! I am available all year long to conference with parents
whenever they feel it necessary. Just give me a call, or send me an e-mail
and we'll set an appt. time!

No, the number means number of days for the month. For example in October,
the student's should have a parent signature for at least 16 days. 15-20
minutes is a good rule of thumb for reading each day.

assignments are difficult. You can communicate this through the homework
notebook.

We have an awesome phone system at school. Just call me at 496-6759/Ext.
51343. If I do not answer the phone just leave a message and I check my
phone throughout the day. If you are really worried, call the office and
they will give me the message immediately

Yes!! Please help your child set aside some time to read for 15 minutes each
day. Please do the best you can to help foster the love of reading.
