Students will be broken into 3 groups to create a Newspaper for the following Native American groups: Powhatan, Pueblo, and Sioux. Each newspaper will contain various parts such as headline, people, food section, classifieds, sports and leisure, real estate, art, style, and weather. Students will research their topic, take notes and then write an article for their newspaper. They will use books, class handouts and websites gathered here for their information.
