After graduating from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, I
returned to my hometown in Brevard County, FL and taught there for six
years before coming to JBD. I have teaching experience in both the primary
and the intermediate grades. Mr. Prater and I are the "proud parents" of
two yellow Labrador Retrievers. I am very excited to be starting my third
year at John B. Dey Elementary School and look foward to working with your
family this school year.
The mission of the Virginia Beach City Public Schools, in partnership with
