Celebrate Reading...Go for the Gold!
Your child needs to read eight or more books or one book with at least eight
chapters. Use the Reading Log sent home or write the book list on a piece
of notebook paper. State each book's title and author, the amount of
chapters, and tell if you enjoyed the book or not. Add your student's name
and the new 2008-2009 teacher. Return the list to school in September.
When your child returns the completed summer reading list, he/she will be
invited to an ice cream sundae party at the end of September. This event
includes all incoming kindergarten students through fifth grade. Join the
fun!
