My educational background includes a B.A. in Elementary Education from
Virginia Tech in 1983. I received an M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from
Chapman University in 1993. I have fourteen years of experience in both
public and private schools. I spent seven years at the Hebrew Academy of
Tidewater teaching science to kindergarteners through fourth graders.
I have been married for twenty-three years and we have three children
between the ages of seventeen and twenty-one.
I'm thrilled to be at a wonderful school like John B. Dey and I feel so
fortunate to have the opportunity to work with you and your children.
Our mission is to be the best we can be in every way. This means trying our
best when we are learning, being the best friend we can be to our classmates,
and having a "can-do" attitude when it comes to trying new things.
