NAME: Mrs. Brownell

SCHOOL: John F. Pattie Elementary School

Mrs. Brownell have been a school nurse since 2000.  She has a Bachelor's 
Degree in Psychology, and an Associate Degree in Nursing.  Mrs. Brownell is 
a Registered Nurse who will share her day between the Pattie and Washington 
Reid/Pattie Annex.

Goals of the School Health Services Program

I like to teach healthy habits, such as handwashing, disease prevention, and 
nutrition.  I try to get to every classroom.  I also do routine vision and 
hearing screenings, dispense medication, and see children in the clinic for 
injuries and illnesses.  The goal of the School Health Services Program is 
to keep the children safe and healthy!
