What's the homework?

Check this site, your weekly agenda, or your school agenda.
That's where it should be!

What are Mrs. Lowe's policies?

Late/Make-Up Work Policy:
No late work will be accepted. Homework will be turned in at
the beginning of each class. If you have an excused absence,
then you have three days to make up any missed work.
Missed work is available from me, your teacher.
If you miss a test or a quiz, you must make it up
during FLEX time within three days. It is your
responsibility to make up any missed assignments.

PLAGIARISM/CHEATING POLICY:
If you are caught cheating, you will receive a zero
on the assignment, a referral, and a phone call home.

Just to be clear, cheating includes copying homework
or in class assignments, looking on another student’s test
or quiz, sharing answers on class work when not working
in groups, and my favorite, copying information from
the Internet or book on a paper or project.

If you let someone copy from you, you are cheating, too.

Check the Handouts section of this site and click on Course
Expectation to view additional information. If you still have questions,
email or call me.

What is the grading policy?

I grade on a total points system. King George County Public
Schools follow a 10-point grading scale.

What is the Parent Portal and how do I use it?

Parent Portal:

Parents and students can see grades, attendance, missing
assignments, tests/quizzes, etc.

This has proved to be a valuable tool for parents,
students, and teachers.
