Wednesday-November 25-We had such a fun day. Miss Kellie's daughter came to
visit the class. She played her violin to many of our favorite songs. Our
feast was fun too. We ate lots of good foods. Hope everyone has a great
Thanksgiving with family and friends!
Tuesday-November 24-Today we were busy with Speech group and our guest
teacher. In speech we read a story and helped to name the foods. We also had
to find the turkey on the computer program. After we ate snack, we had our
special science lesson with Miss Jody. She showed us various shapes in
nature
that we could hold (leaves, pinecone, feather, and apple). We also sorted
shapes on paper and listened to a story about a leaf man. Feast is tomorrow
so do not send a separate snack.
Monday-November 23-We were very busy. In music class, we sang Turkey and
Thanksgiving songs. Fun! We also went to OT/PT to play Turkey games. We had
fun playing "Turkey, Turkey, Goose". For our Apple book, we added a turkey
book called, "Where is Turkey". We talked about positional words such as:
beside, on, and under. Tomorrow we will have a special science lesson from
Mudd puddle science called:"Shapes in nature". It is sure to be fun!
