Friday-November 6-What a fun and exciting Friday! We first played with orange
play-dough. After that we decorated sugar cookie dough with a letter "L" and
then sprinkled red and yellow sugar on top. We baked them in the oven while
we had circle time. During snack we got to eat one. They were delicious. In
our apple books we added a leaf rubbing. Maybe you can go on a leaf hunt this
weekend with your child. Have a great weekend!

Thursday-November 5- A busy day. We had speech group today. We played with
different colored leaves while we read a book about falling leaves. We also
painted some fall leaves at the easel and added a leafy letter L to our
books. Help your child to pronounce the letter L at home.

Wednesday-November 4-We practiced saying the word "leaves" in a microphone.
We also had fun reading our book called: "Going on a Leaf Hunt". We will
continue to read the book every day this week. It has lots of fun repetitive
phrases like, "What a wonderful day" and "We made it!".

Monday-November 2-Today we had lots of fun in OT/PT. We rolled on scooter
boards and threw spiders at their web, we grabbed into spaghetti to find
eyeballs, and we walked on shaving cream to find spider webs. We practiced
taking off and putting on our shoes too. For Music, we danced with scarves
and also used tambourines. We are starting our unit about leaves and the
letter "L".
