Please check your child's agenda nightly. We write every assignment in it daily.
If your child continuously does not write his or her assignments down,
please have a talk with him or her.
Nightly homework will ALWAYS include 20 minutes of reading.
Most nights there will be math homework, but it depends on the math lesson
that day. Science, Social Studies and Language Arts homework depends on what we are working on in
class.
There will be spelling homework each night, except for Friday nights. I am currently developing the
spelling homework schedule so please check back for an update!
Homework should be returned in the homework folder to be turned into the basket daily.
Friday night homework is usually just to return the Friday Folder!
Missed homework will be done during recess and will receive half credit in my grade book.
If your child is absent, he or she will receive a folder with the missed work. He or she has 2 days to
complete and return the work. For longer absences, I will change the amount of time required to return
the folder.
