About The Teacher

Hello class!  This is your opportunity to get to know me a little.  This is 
my 8th year teaching 3rd grade at Kerrydale!  I knew that I wanted to be a 
teacher ever since I was in 3rd grade.  That could be because my mom and dad 
were both teachers too.  My mom even taught 3rd grade!  

Before I moved to Virginia, I lived in New York (not too far from New York 
City).  I lived in the same town my whole life until college.  I even 
graduated High School with a few kids I went to Kindergarten with!  I went 
to college at the State University of New York College at Fredonia.  It's 
all of the way on the other side of New York State, 7 hours away from my mom 
and dad.  After college, I moved here to Virginia and started teaching at 
Kerrydale right away.  I love Kerrydale!

A few years later, I got married.  I live near school, with my husband, my little boy Ben, my 
dog, Jack and my cat, Oliver.  Ben was born this past September!
