Objectives:

Vocabulary
Students will receive their vocabulary list on the first day of the week. Vocabulary assignments will be given during the week. The quiz will be given the last day of the week.

Literature
Much of our class time will be dedicated to reading the literary selections
that meet Virginia SOL standards and make up the curriculum. Students should
plan to take textbooks home for study prior to quizzes and tests.

Projects
Projects will occasionally require the use of the Internet outside of the classroom. The library and other computer labs are open during Flex block for individuals and/or groups. Laptops are used in class when needed.
Flex Time - 10:40 - 11:30
During Flex time, office hours are from 10:40-11:30. Students should use this time to come in to collect and complete work from an absence, makeup tests and quizzes, ask questions, complete work and projects, or study.
