About The Teacher

I have lived in Virginia Beach all my life, and am a product of the beach 
school system.  This is my fifth year at Luxford Elementary, as a third 
grade teacher. I graduated from Old Dominion University with a Bachelors in 
Elementary Education, as well as my Masters in Early Childhood Education.  I 
have enjoyed playing soccer all my life.  I currently play for SEVWSA 
(Southeastern Virginia Women's Soccer Association)and enjoy sponsoring our 
Luxford soccer club each Spring.  I am also looking forward to sponsoring 
our S.C.A. again this year and watching as our future leaders of tomorrow 
grow and excel, implementing their great ideas each and everyday.  All in 
all, I feel very lucky to be a part of such an outstanding school, that 
maintains a family type atmosphere, and is always helping our students to 
put their best foot forward.
