Please have your child wear comfortable shoes on the day he/she has music,
because we do a lot of moving around!
Fourth grade will begin playing the recorders shortly. Recorders will be
available for purchase here at school, for $5.00; checks made payable to
Matthew Whaley Elementary School. A letter will be coming home once the
recorders have arrived, so please do NOT send any money until then! If your
child already owns a recorder, it is not necessary to purchase another one,
unless someone else in the family (maybe a parent?) would like to play, too.
Every child will be given ONE folder with all the music; if the folder is
lost, it will be the responsibility of the parent/child to replace the folder.
