Welcome to my class! Some of you I have had the pleasure of meeting during
first semester and for the rest of you, I am excited to get to know you. I
hope your first semester was a success and I am looking forward to a fun,
engaging, and productive semester.
According to research, one of the strongest indicators of student achievement
is parental involvement. School sponsored events are a great way to become
involved in the "total program" offered here at Nottoway High School. Check
out the Nottoway website and I hope to see you at upcoming events. New this
year is the NHS Athletic Boosters Program, this is a great way to get
involved with your student and their peers and to see some great student
athletes at work.
Typically during the second semester, there is not a scheduled "parent /
teacher" night for you to come and discuss your student's progress. However,
if at any time you feel a meeting would be helpful, please do not hesitate to
contact me to schedule one!
I will try my best to keep my webpage updated and useful for you to use as a
resource. If there is something that you would like to see posted, please
send me an email and I will try to accomodate you. The curriculum content
areas and my course syllabus are posted on my main page. If you have any
