About The Teacher
My name is Ms. Dickinson and this is my second year at Nottoway Intermediate School. I have a BFA from Virginia Commonwealth University with a minor in art history. I am certified to teach art k-12 and I am very passionate about enhancing student learning through the study of art. I did my student teaching in Chesterfield County and I have a lot of experience working with children in school as well as activities outside of school. Mission
Art 5th and 6th are hands-on courses using a wide variety of art media and projects emphasizing the state Visual Arts Standards of Learning. All classes are approximately 60 minutes long and are designed to develop skills, encourage creativity, individual expression, and appreciation of all forms of the arts.
