Spring Concert

Dear Parents,

                  Our 5th graders will perform their last concert  on Tuesday evening, May 26th, at O.B. Gates. The concert will begin at 7:00 p.m. after the PTA meeting.  The performance, titled "The Many Faces of Mrs. Frost", will pay tribute to Mrs. Ann Frost, who will be retiring at the end of this school year. Mrs. Frost has portrayed characters in most of the 5th grade programs for a long time. I would like to ask that you encourage your older children (if they have gone through the 5th grade at Gates) to attend this concert, as I may need their help! Also, please pass this information on to your friends and neighbors who may have had 5th graders at Gates at one time. It would be nice to have as many "Gates Alumni" in attendance as possible!
                   As always, it is very important that all of the 5th graders participate in this performance. Please arrange with dance teachers, coaches, gymnastics coaches, etc. to allow your child time off from rehearsal or practice to attend. If you know that your child will not be able to attend this performance, please let me know IMMEDIATELY.
                    I would like to thank you for allowing me the joy and privilege of working with your 5th grader this year. Thank you, also, for your continued support of the Fine Arts programs here at O.B. Gates.
