| Everyday at 3:00 pm. our class stops for Organizational Time. We
discuss our upcoming assignments and record them in our agenda. We also
clean out our desks, so you may find classroom work in your child's
backpack. Students can redo any unsatisfactory work and turn it in to
improve their grades.
Please be sure to have your child read for 20 minutes or more each
evening. Be sure that the book that they are reading is a "Just Right" book.
That means that it is not too hard to understand and is not so easy that
they will not learn new words while reading it.
Frequently your child will have a math worksheet to complete. The skills
on the worksheet will have been taught in class. A Math Resource book for
families will be sent home so everyone can review our math lessons.
Be sure to help your child prepare for each end of the unit assessment
in all subject areas when the material for studying is sent home.
