During a recent city council meeting held at Rainbow City Park, the mayor and the city council members saw lots and lots of beautiful butterflies. He asked the city council members to investigate the butterfly situation.

 

The mayor wanted to know:

 

1. What are the four stages of the life cycle of the butterfly?

2. What happens during each stage of the life cycle?

3. What are the body parts of the butterfly?

4. What do butterflies eat?

5. Where do butterflies live?

 

The city council members worried about whom to call to investigate this situation. They needed some Butterfly experts who could investigate and create a report for the mayor.

Suddenly, one council member remembered - the best Butterfly Detectives in the whole world are in the second grade class at

Rainbow City Elementary School !! 

 

Now the pressure is on!!  You must report for duty with your team –
