- Put SPED or ESOL students in groups with stronger students.
- I would assign students to groups after consideration of your students’ strengths.
- Timeline of Events -
- Allow each team 5 days in class/in the computer lab to work on the assigned tasks.
- On days 6 and 7 meet with each team and have them present their final products. Also allow teams time to meet together to practice their presentations on these two days.
- On day 8, teams will present their "campaigns". Hold an election in class to elect the class "governor".
- On day 10, the winning "governors" in each period will present their campaigns for the 7th Grade Election. You may wish to give extra credit points to the winning team.
