Introduction Page 1
Sir Issac Newton (1642-)1727)..IRC. 2005. unitedstreaming. 30 March 2006
Welcome to the World of Newton. Do you realize, he established guidelines for every kind of motion we execute? His laws govern the design of Roller Coasters. They tell us why an automobile moves and how to find the correct arc to shoot a basketball. They define the motion of a hockey puck and tell us why walking up a hill is harder than walking down. They influence everything you do, even sitting. Lets find out how.
We have already completed a review of the BIG Three units, MASS, TIME and DISTANCE and you designed and conducted experiments to Analyze the Time vs Distance relationship. Now it is time to introduce Mass. The relationship between Mass, Time and Distance is defined by 3 Laws which rule the entire discipline of Mechanics and Kinematics. Move to Introduction 2 and review the video link.
