Task

Working in a group and using your sketchbook for your journal and sketches, each member of the group will have a task: Tubman Biographer, Lawrence Biographer, Art Critic and Artist. Each member will complete the tasks given to them on the process page, bringing you closer to an understanding of how artists tell stories through their art, how the artists style can be important to the storytelling, and how different a photograph and a painted portrait can be, and why?

Finally, your group will present your findings and portrait to the class, and critique other groups work and portrait.
