wonderful students, parents, and families!!!

January 4, 2010; School Begins for the 2010 Year: Happy New Year~~~
January 6, 2010: Field Trip to the Dockside: Cost $6.50. We will tour the
restaurant and have lunch. We need parents to attent to help on the field
trip! What a great way to see how a business runs!!!!
January 21, 2010: Kitchen Chemistry Science Lab: 12:45-2:45: Parent
volunteers are always needed. Please join the event:)We can't do it without
you!!!!
February 5, 2010: Report Cards go home.
February 25, 2010: Magnet Lab: 8:30 We will need parent volunteers to help
with the event. We need your support and help.....Magnets are so
interesting!!!
March 3, 2010: Field Trip to the Chrysler Museum to view Egypt and China
Exhibit. We will need parent volunteers to join us on the trip....It is a
great trip!!!
April 15, 2010: Field Trip to the Imax: Mysteries of Egypt: We will need
parents to join us on the trip.
April 16, 2010: Report Cards
May 4, 2010: Egypt Assembly at 1:30 and 6:30: Temples and Tombs Second Grade
Musical in the cafeteria. You will LOVE the music....
May 31, 2010: Memorial Day Holiday
June 4, 2010: Field Trip to the VA Aquarium: Price $6.50: We will need many
parents to attend to ensure small group touring....Students will bring their
lunch and beverage for an outdoor lunch!
June 11, 2010: Field Day for second graders
June 17 and June 18, 2010: Early dismissal for students
