CONGRATULATIONS to all of you who participated in the sandcastle competition
at the Neptune Festival Saturday. WOW! FIRST PLACE!
Madisyn was elected as class photographer for Ms. Parker's class, and Kate
was elected as class photographer for Mrs. McCammon's class.
Congratulations to both!
2008-2009 SUPPLY LIST FOR ROOMS 10 AND 13
This supply list reflects exactly what the students in rooms 10 and 13
will
need for the coming year. You will notice that we do not require a number of
the items on the general third grade supply list. The list below should be
the same as the one we mailed to you in our welcoming letter this summer.
2 boxes of 12 colored pencils
2 packages of #2 pencils - replenish as needed
2 large pink erasers
1 yellow highlighter
2 dry erase markers
1 scissors
2 glue sticks
1 package of Post-It notes
1 7½” X 10½” sturdy pencil pouch (no boxes, please)
I package of wide ruled loose leaf paper - replenish as needed
2 black and white (or any color) composition notebooks
1 1” flexible plastic binder
1 2” hard-backed binder
10 write-on dividers
2 plastic 3 prong pocket folders
optional:
1 large box of tissues (an extra one to share with the specialists -- art,
computer, music would really be appreciated)
boys -- one roll of paper towels
girls -- 1 bottle of hand sanitizer

SILENT AUCTION:
At the fall festival our PTA sponsors a Silent Auction. Each class
assembles items for one basket. Our themes are listed below.
McCammon: Candles and Scents - candles, potpourri, scent pots, lotions, soaps
Parker: Remember Writing - pen sets, stationery, note cards, stamps,
stickers, labels, address books, diary, handmade cards
