1. KEY WORDS: Today in class students learned how to identify key words in
a paragraph and sythesize the information. First, they READ the paragraph.
Next, they highlighted 10 important words. Then, they reread the
paragraph. Finally, they used the words to summarize what the paragraph was
saying. They have an example from class today to use as a guide tonight as
they complete the two paragraphs on the topic of clothing.
