Vocabulary: 
Contraction: to curve the spine forward	
Arch: to curve the spine backward 
Side-lift: to curve the spine sideways	
Twist: to rotate the spine			
Parallel: thighs, knees and toes straight ahead
Turn-out: outward rotation of the thigh bone in the hip socket
Turn-in: inward rotation of the thigh bone in the hip socket 
Undercurve: a ā€œUā€-shaped pathway through space
Overcurve: an upside down ā€œUā€-shaped pathway through space 
Spine: the bones of the back		
Vertebrae: the many bones that make up the spine
Pelvis: a bowl-shaped bone including the hips, hip sockets, pubic 
bones and sit bones
Center: the mid-point of the body 
Spring: any movement that leaves the floor
Five types of springs: 2feet-2 feet, 1 foot-same foot, 1 foot-other 
foot, 2 feet-1 foot and 1 foot-2 feet
