Monday:
Begin reading Chapter 12: The Criminal Justice Process: The Investigation. Know when an arrest can take, what is the 4th amendment?
Homework: Read pages 143 to 154 and prepare to discuss Searches without a warrant.
Tuesday
: Powerpoint presentation and class discussion on searches without a warrant.
Homework: Read the rest of the Chapter and prepare to discuss racial profiling, , the 5th amendment, Escobedo v. Illionois and Miranda v. Arizona.
Wednesday: Powerpoint presentation and class discussion.
Thursday: Review Chapter 12.
Homework: Study for Test on Chapter 12.
Friday: Test on Chapter 12.
Week of December 7th to December 11th.
Monday: Begin powerpoint presentation and class discussion on Chapter 14 - The Criminal Justice Process: The Trial.
Homework: Read 173 to 180 in Chapter 15 - Criminal Justice Process: Sentencing and Corrections.
Tuesday: Powerpoint presentation and class discussion.
Homework: Finish reading Chapter 15.
Wednesday: Powerpoint presentation and class discussion on the remaining of Chapter 15.
Thurday: Pass out review sheets for midterm and begin discussion questions.
Friday: Continue w/ midterm review.
