| Welcome to all Mr. Pharao's U.S.Government, Law, 20th Century History and
Civil War students. I expect that you all will have a great learning
experience and have some fun in my classes. To ensure that we all learn and
get the most out of these courses it is imperative that you pay attention
and give the necessary respect to me as well as each other in order to
achieve academic success, while displaying good Christian principles.
In my class, I will require complete silence while I am lecturing. This is
mandatory to achieve my, as well as your goals. My grading system will be
based on the following: Tests 50%, Quizzes 25% and Homework 25%. Class
participation will be factored in at my discretion.
If you are absent you will still be required to complete your homework
assignment since it will be posted on my web.
If you come back to class unprepared, you will not get credit for your
homework. I will be available to give you any additional help you might need
to succeed in my classes. Please be free to ask. I am looking forward to
this school year and hope you learn much while having a good experience with
me as your teacher.
