Mr. Pharao has been a substitute and full-time teacher at Paul VI for the
past six years. Prior to that, he was a New York City Police Officer for 12
years and a Drug Enforcement Administration Special Agent for 22 years.
Mr. Pharao has an undergrade degree in Police Science from the New York
Institute of Technology, a Masters in Education from the University of
Virginia and a Masters in American History from George Mason University.

U.S. Government: Upon completion of this course, the students will have a
general knowledge of the principles of U.S. Government, to include how the
government came into existence and how we sustained it until the present.
Street Law: This class will be designed to inform students of the laws of
the U.S. States and how they apply to individual states. It will cover
criminal and civil offenses, the arrest and court systems as well as the
specific crimes that are prevelant in U.S. society. Upon
completion of this course, the student should be well aprized of the law and
the consequences if the laws are violated. Students will also become familiar
with warranties, contracts, marriage laws, wills, discrimination,
tenant/landlord relations, etc.
