HEALTH GRADING PROCEDURE:

40% = PARTICIPATION... Everyone starts with 100 points. Any time a student
is tardy, forgets supplies, does not fully particpate in class, does not
turn in an assignment, disrupts class, etc... he will lose 5 points.
40% = TESTS... We will have three tests each quarter on the
material we cover.
20% = PROJECT... Students will complete a health topic project each quarter.

P.E. GRADING PROCEDURE:

20% = FITNESS... We will do cardiovascular work every week (usaully this
means running the mile). Everyone starts with 100 points...
--Run within 30 seconds of your best time or better, there is no change.
--Run 31 seconds or more slower than your best time = loss of 10 points.
--Beat your best time = gain 10 points, but you can't go higher than 100.
