Please be working steadily on your Review Packets. Don't wait until the last
minute to start it. 20 minutes a night is much better than 4 hours the night
before your exam!

Don't forget about Jr. Math League on Wednesday, the 11th. It can mean a
number of points being added to Test scores. In fact, a number of my Algebra
2 students will have 16 points added to a 3rd Quarter Test score, thanks to
Jr. Math League.
To follow this up, those of you that have attended Jr. Math League may see
your online test scores change. Again, if you have any questions, please let

Welcome back from Thanksgiving Break! We have just 2 weeks until Midterm
Exams. Make sure that you are working on the Review Packets. We will spend
at least two full days reviewing for the exam, so make sure that you come
prepared with any questions. Working a little bit every day from now until
then will be much more beneficial than cramming the night before your exam!
NOTE: A student pointed out a problem with no correct answer available on
the Algebra 2 review packet. There may be more. If you find any other
problems, please let me know. Thanks.

I have completed 1st Semester Review Packets for all my classes, and have
been distributing them after exams today. If you did not pick one up, make
sure you get one as soon as possible. The packets are due on December 4,
and will count for 5 homeworks. Remember - you will likely not be prepared
for the Midterm Exam if you do not complete the review packet. Thanks.

GET OUT AND VOTE!!

CHANGE IN HOMEWORK POLICY: Beginning the week of Monday, November 10, I will
be changing my policy regarding homework. Up until then, I accepted
homework for full credit until I left the building on the day it was due.
This was beginning to be abused by students - students who were rarely doing
their homework on time, and then were trying to complete it in class while I
went over it.
Therefore, beginning on Monday, homework checked at the start of class
completed acceptably will receive full credit. Homework shown to me after
school or the following day will receive half credit. And no change, no
homework credit on the 2nd day after it was due.
