General Classroom Policies
l. Students are expected to bring the necessary materials (pen, pencil,
textbook, notebook, etc.) to class daily.
2. Students are expected to be inside the classroom before the class
bell has rung.
3. Upon entering the classroom, students should remove unnecessary
belongs from their desks.
4. Students should raise their hand whenever they wish to make a
statement to the class.
5. Students should not leave their seats without asking the teacher for
permission.
6. No chewing of gum or wearing of hats in the classroom is permitted.
7. Make-up work—Student should consult the teacher regarding all missed
work. Whenever necessary students must arrange with the teacher an
appropriate time for remedial work.
8. Illness/Travel—Students should have the telephone number of at least
one classmate so that the absentee will be current with homework assignments
in the event of an extended absence.
9. Clinic/Bathroom/Office—The use of these areas should not be abused
and students are expected to utilize these facilities before the beginning
of class or only in case of an emergency.
10. Evaluations—During the administration of any evaluation a policy
of “honesty is to be in effect.
11. Students who give or receive assistance in any manner during the
testing procedure will receive a “O” and the incident will be reported.
12. After students review all quizzes and exams, the evaluations will be
held by the teacher and can be made available to the student upon request.
