Materials:
* Textbook
*One inch binder
Pencil pouch with metal rings filled with 3 sharpened pencils with
erasers and 3 red pens.
*Formula Packet
* Prep for Exam problems
* AP Exam Problems by chapter
*Dividers labeled and separating notebook paper, graph paper, Prep for exam
problems, AP problems, homework, notes, and tests/quizzes
* TI-83,TI - 83 plus, or TI-84 calculator is required
Grading:
*Tests: 60% (approximately three per quarter)
*Quizzes: 20% (approximately four per quarter – in class quizzes and AP
problems
* Notebook Checks: 10% (approximately two per quarter - notebook checked for
setup, supplies, notes and homework completion)
* Homework: 10% (approximately five per quarter – homework collected and
graded for proper heading, completeness and correctness)
* Grade = .6(test average) + .2(quiz average) + .1(notebook average) + .1
(homework average)
Class Procedures:
*Greeting: Prayer and uniform check
* Homework Check: Clear desk except for homework and red pen.
*New Material: taking notes is suggested but not required. It is required to
write down the date, section number and title, and
work all example
problems that are done on the board.
*Homework - will be posted on the board and on a chapter assignment sheet.

Extra Help
*I am available after school Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Mornings I’m
usually at Mass.
